While the TV was on with the Olympics in full swing and the energetic gymnasts did their thing in the background, Avital Manor started to work on my September 2012Illustrated Break. Although she wanted to send a happy pattern, along came the sardine fish and with them a slightly gloomy feeling. Nevertheless, I’m loving her unique point of view.

There’s something that really conects me back to “W and the Memory of Childhood” by Perec. I think its the gloomyness and the olympics mixing together, and the fact that I was talking about Perec to a friend just the other day…

Yifaat,
I don’t really know this book, but it sounds like something I should definitely check!
