When Albi Serfaty shared with me his “Rose Li” collection of light fixtures, I was sure I was going to be reading about how much this guy loves flamingos and how influenced he was by their royal gestures. BUT as you can imagine, I was dead wrong. Albi, the Mr. of Ayala Serfaty and also the man behind Aqua Creations was influenced by Tai Chi and his Master, Rose Li. “Head up, shoulders down”, “Stand On One Leg and Trust”, “Hugging the Tree” are just few Tai Chi postures, that got to be represented as light fixtures, by this designer with the perfect posture.
I guess I should blame Pinterest and all the Flamingos that I constantly pin.
