Ceramics, World Break World Break: Tracie Hervy | Naked Porcelain

The simplicity of prehistoric vessels was the inspiration for this collection of ceramic tableware.
Tracie Hervy, the one responsible for this raw beauty, used slipcasting, as a way to work and… “instead of applying glaze to the surface of the vessels, I have added oxides (or pigment) directly to the clay. The result is something that looks and feels like it is of the earth.”
You know me, the more minimal and raw the happier I get. Plus, I’m obsessed with ceramics even though in this case it feels more like sand or maybe I should just call it naked porcelain.
