Did you hear about the Flatlight CandleHolder? ? I’m pretty sure you’ve seen it all over the internet.
“It all started with the design of a simple candlestick holder, which I stripped to its most basic form. After months of playing with and drawing different prototypes, I reached the perfect product that combines a classic object with modern design. I looked once, I looked twice, and saw something completely new, innovative, and contemporary”.
The Flatlight CandleHolder is when 2D and 3D become one, or in other words, it only looks like a three-dimensional candlestick but it’s actually a flat optical illusion. Yep, it’s BRILLIANT!
The brains behind it all is Mr. Smart Guy Nir Chehanowski, who created this magic with photochemical etching process and used 0.4mm thick brass. I’m super intrigued by this, but most importantly, you too can join this lighting party by joining the kickstarter festivities.
