I should have pushed the “publish” button a long time ago but I just waited for the perfect pictures and finally they arrived to my inbox!
Sovar Lerner is one of those who made me stand and stare at their white ceramic sphere for quite a long time during the 2012 graduation show at the Bezalel Academy. Sovar refers to herself as a cultural mutant. East, West, Persian, Polish and a Russian. All of her mixed roots come to life in a series of ceramic mutants that represent the cultural differences that are part of the Israeli society.
