Israeli Designers, Student Work, Textile Design Student Break: Roni Yeheskel | The Melody of The Lines

Mathematics, geometry and in between, never been my thing. In fact, I’m so happy that I don’t have to re-live those horrific days… However, there are people who can embrace the beauty within those lines and create magic out of it. One of those people is Roni Yeheskel, who created the Webbings. Upholstery fabrics, which were inspired by the Bauhaus and textile artist, Anni Albers. Roni played with the grid of the horizontal seat and the vertical back rest and came up with structure that makes you want to hum along the lines. It almost feels like a melody of the lines.
BTW, in case you wondered (but I’m sure you figured it out already), Roni is a newly graduate of the Textile Design Department at the Shenkar College.
