“Researchers claim that within fifty years the ginger population will be extinct.” I must admit that non of my friends are gingers. And with that being said, I love my very own freckles (and I have so many of them) and I’m guessing that all gingers out there love theirs.
Another fun fact is that “only 1% of the world’s population are gingers.” In her Ginger Project, Nurit Benchetrit, a graduate of the Department of Visual Communication at The NB Haifa School of Design, was trying to investigate why gingers are so special and intriguing. She photographed almost 150 gingers and the outcome is red, hot and touching all at the same time. After all, I’m always curious about the people the stare right back at me. Aren’t you?
