Israeli Designers, Student Work, Textile Design Student Break: Linor Shturem | Between Art And Design

Linor is a 2010 graduate of the Textile Design Department at Shenkar College of Engineering and Design.
While writing this, Linor is in India clearing her mind, absorbing and being inspired…
Her graduation project was inspired by rusty objects. It all began with collecting old objects, tribal instruments, kitchen utensils and garden tools. Linor combined knitting linen thread with copper she manipulated.
Oxidation.Rust.Texture.Soft.Stiff.That’s what it’s all about. BTW, I wrote about Linor’s Nitca line a while back.
