Back in the day, as a student, I studied quite a bit about “Still life” painting. Not sure if it’s the right time or place to share with you my thoughts on the subject but then again… I feel like the same thoughts were the trigger for Chen Pony Shafir’s collection. Chen’s dark side is shown in this mysterious journey she took upon herself… BTW, Chen is a graduate of the Fashion Design Department at Shenkar College.
