i can say without hesitation that my life is divided in two. life before realizing that fancy cutting boards are a must and life after i became a cutting board hoarder. you can call it a cutting board, a cheese platter, a serving tray, whatever you call it, i have it and in multiples.
so when i stumbled upon the whimsy world of micush (aka michal gal-marko) and her illustrated boards, i knew i had to share it with all of you.
there is no way i’m allowing myself to dive into that magnificent rabbit hole, all by myself. michal’s tag line is “illustrated living” and boy isn’t it what we could all use these days?! a serine hideout filled with illustrated homeware is just what the doctor ordered.
i have to mention that michal, the illustrator and force behind all this whimsical creation, is a self taught illustrator and there’s nothing i admire more than self taught humans, especially when they are the illustrating kind.
that’s the place to add that michal’s pattern design is a skill that you can’t take lightly and i consider her as a master pattern-er. now all is left to do is go to my pinterest account and start a pin-fest of illustrated boards or trays or trivets or whatever, as long as it illustrated by micush.
just one last thing, i sure hope that at some point michal will bring back to life her oh-so-briliant wrapping papers. i can’t believe i missed them!
Thank you See you soon
